A 20-inch filter provides twice the surface area of a 10-inch filter, which means it can hold twice as much sediment before needing replacement. This significantly reduces maintenance time and ensures more consistent flow rates for larger water systems.

A 0.5-micron filter is ideal if you need high-purity water for sensitive equipment or if your incoming water has very fine sediment. However, because it is very fine, it may clog quickly if your water has heavy, coarse sediment. We recommend using a coarser "pre-filter" (such as a 20 or 50-micron stage) if your water is highly turbid.
