How to fit it

1. Isolate the softener at the bypass valve and shut off the mains supply before opening the injector cap
2. Unscrew the injector cap on the side of the WS1 valve body, usually secured by a single retaining screw or clip
3. Withdraw the injector assembly and inspect the nozzle, throat and screen for scale, grit or cracking
4. Fit the replacement V3010-1Z assembly, checking the colour code matches the original part fitted
5. Refit the injector cap and o-ring, ensuring it seats correctly to avoid air leaks during the brine draw
6. Restore the water supply and run a manual regeneration cycle, checking that brine is drawn from the tank and drains correctly
