Product Description
The Fleck 24067 piston assembly is a genuine standard and hot-water rated replacement piston for the Fleck 2510, 2750 and 2900 valve series, larger residential and light commercial control valves, and WrekinWater supplies it to help owners resolve leaking, jamming or non-cycling faults without replacing the entire valve body.

Symptoms that mean you need this part
- Water leaking or trickling continuously to drain outside of a regen cycle
- The valve jamming, sticking or grinding partway through a regeneration
- The system failing to advance through or complete its cycle stages
- Softened water quality dropping, suggesting the piston is no longer sealing all ports correctly
Why it fails / why it matters
The piston assembly is the moving core of the 2510/2750/2900 valve body, sliding through its bore to open and close the ports that direct water through service, backwash, brine draw, rinse and refill. Continuous exposure to mains pressure and the minerals in hard water wears the piston's sealing surfaces down over years of operation, and on Std/HW-rated valves used with hot water the added thermal stress can accelerate this wear further, so a worn 24067 typically presents as either water leaking to drain or a valve that binds and stalls mid-cycle.

How to fit it
- Isolate the water supply and place the valve into bypass
- Depressurise the valve body before removing the cover
- Withdraw the existing piston assembly, noting the orientation of any seals and spacers
- Inspect the valve bore for scale, pitting or debris and clean thoroughly
- Fit the new Fleck 24067 piston assembly, lubricating with a food-safe silicone lubricant if advised
- Reassemble the valve, restore the water supply, come off bypass and run a manual regeneration to confirm smooth, leak-free cycling
