IX Cafe Filter System

The IX Cafe is a barista-optimised water filtration system built for espresso machines, filter brewers and grinders — dialling in water quality for extraction, aroma and machine protection in one unit. A carbon filtration stage strips out chlorine, odours and sediment that dull flavour, while the ion exchange resin core balances mineral hardness so your machine gets water that's both kind to its internals and right for pulling a consistent shot.

Unlike a conventional cartridge filter, the IX Cafe's casing and head are designed to be reused indefinitely — only the internal resin cartridge is exchanged, regenerated through IX Water's UK-based circular scheme, and sent back out. The IX Variable Head gives you independent bypass control with its own micron-rated carbon stage, so however you've dialled in your water hardness, you're never left with metallic or musty-tasting bypass water — and the bypass keeps working while you swap the cartridge, so there's no downtime for the machine.
