Product Description

Replacement cartridge for the IX PFAS filter system, carrying the same advanced ion exchange media as the original unit — proven effective against PFOS, PFOA, PFNA, PFHpA, PFHxS, PFBS and PFDA, covering both short-chain and long-chain PFAS. Twist-lock fit into your existing IX Variable Head via the 3/8" push-fit connection. The media is single-use and designed for cold water only; flush for at least five minutes before use.

Lock the head, relieve pressure via the flush valve, twist off the old cartridge and fit the new one, then flush for at least five minutes before returning to use — using 3/8" push-fit connections.

PFAS-reduction media can become exhausted and start passing contaminants through before there's any visible or taste-based warning sign, unlike a chlorine/odour filter — so change on rated capacity (17,000L Medium / 30,000L Large, based on test water), not on how the water looks or tastes.
