Sita 80/3 LCD RACK: 3-Lamp UV Disinfection System, 3 x 80W (20 m³/hr)

The Sita 80/3 LCD RACK steps up SITA's industrial RACK series to three 80W lamps housed in a single stainless steel chamber, covering a substantially higher flow rate than the twin-lamp 80/2. It's manufactured in Italy to ISO 9001 quality standards and WRAS approved, with a 304 stainless steel chamber (316 optional).

The LCD control panel gives you an LCD display, an hours-run meter, a red LED fault light, a free alarm relay contact (NO/NC, 2A max), a 4-20mA output, and an O-Norm/DVGW approved sensor — useful if you want to tie the system into a building management system. If you'd also like a UV intensity meter, a resettable lamp-life countdown, and automatic high-temperature shutdown, the LCD PLUS version of this model adds those.

Why it matters

UV systems should be sized generously against your actual site flow rate — as a rule of thumb, the UV's rated flow should be at least 4 times your required or achievable flow, or you should restrict flow to no more than 38% of the system's maximum rating. We'd also recommend physical pre-filtration ahead of the UV rather than relying on the UV alone: a triple-filter setup (5 micron string wound, 1 micron polyspun, then a 0.45 micron absolute filter) is a common specification, with two absolute filters in parallel where higher flow is needed.
