Product Description
This is the genuine Pentair support basket for the PBH-410 10" bag filter housing, available separately for customers who only need to renew the basket rather than the full housing. WrekinWater stocks this exact manufacturer part so it fits straight into your existing PBH-410 bowl and holds the filter bag in shape under pressure. It's the perforated cage the bag sits inside, not the bag itself.

Signs you need this part
- Bags keep collapsing or tearing even though the correct size is fitted.
- You can see corrosion, dents or split perforations on the basket wall.
- Sediment or debris is getting through to the clean side of the housing.
- Flow through the housing has dropped noticeably despite fitting a new bag.
The basket supports the filter bag from the inside, holding it open against flow so it can trap debris without folding or splitting under pressure. Years of use, pressure surges or corrosion can weaken the perforated walls, and once the shape distorts the bag can no longer sit correctly against it, letting unfiltered water find a way past torn or misaligned sections. Replacing a worn bag alone won't fix filtration if the basket underneath it has failed.
WrekinWater is a family run company based in Bettisfield, Shropshire, that has served more than 50,000 customers over 15 years and stocks genuine Pentair parts rather than generic alternatives. Buying the correct manufacturer basket means it seats properly in your PBH-410 bowl, with support from a UK team (Company No. 11000488) rated Excellent on Trustpilot if you need help confirming fit.
How to fit it
- Isolate the water supply to the housing and relieve any residual pressure via the drain port.
- Unclamp the bowl from the head and lift out the old bag and basket together.
- Remove the spent bag and check the bowl for scale, sediment or debris.
- Fit the new basket squarely into the base of the bowl.
- Place a filter bag over the basket, folding the lip evenly over the rim.
- Refit the bowl to the head, restore the water supply and check the joint for leaks.
