This 10kg bag of Corosex (Magnesium Oxide) provides a highly effective pH correction solution for continuous flow water treatment systems. Offered in a smaller, convenient quantity, this highly reactive media is designed to be mixed with Juraperle to rapidly neutralize free carbon dioxide in acidic private water supplies.

Note: A 10kg bag of Corosex combined with 50kg of Juraperle provides the precise 80/20 ratio adequate for a standard 10x54-inch vessel.

How the Juraperle & Corosex Mix Works

Corosex should not be used as a standalone media. When combined in an 80/20 mix with Juraperle, the two media balance each other to ensure safe, stable, and pleasant water:

• Corosex (Magnesium Oxide): Slowly dissolves to provide a rapid upward adjustment in pH levels.

• Juraperle (Calcium Carbonate): Provides a steady, controlled increase in pH to stabilize the fast-acting Corosex, preventing extreme alkaline spikes.

Operating Conditions & Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and efficiency of the media, regular backwashing is necessary. This prevents the cementing of the Corosex bed and removes accumulated particulates.
