The IX Taste is the drinking-water-focused model in the IX range, engineered to remove sediment and unwanted odours and deliver fresh-tasting, clean, odourless drinking water. It's well suited to self-service water stations, or simply extending the same quality and attention to detail to your tap water as the rest of the site.
A 5-stage process (prefiltration, silver activated carbon, sediment reduction, media-specific water treatment, and fine filtration) handles the filtration. Only the internal cartridge is exchanged when it reaches capacity — the casing and IX Variable Head are reused, and the spent cartridge is regenerated through IX Water's circular takeback scheme rather than thrown away. On IX Taste specifically, the head's bypass must be set to 0 to make sure no hard water is dialled back into the supply.
