    Replacement cartridge for the IX Taste filter system, carrying the same 5-stage sediment and odour reduction media (prefiltration, silver activated carbon, sediment reduction, media-specific treatment, fine filtration) as the original unit. Twist-lock fit into the existing IX Variable Head via the 3/8" push-fit connection, keeping drinking water clean and odour-free once the original cartridge is exhausted.

    Lock the head, use the flush valve to relieve pressure, twist off the old cartridge, twist on the new one, then flush before use — no plumbing tools required, using 3/8" push-fit connections.

    At bypass setting 1, the Medium cartridge is rated for 75,600 litres and the Large for 130,725 litres. Actual life will vary with your local water quality and flow rate.

    No — always match the refill to its intended model. The internal media is formulated differently across the IX range (Taste, Cafe, Defend, PFAS etc.), so fitting the wrong cartridge won't give you the filtration you're expecting.
