The IX Vend is built for high-volume vending applications — hot drinks vendors, water coolers and multi-drink machines — where consistent water quality and dependable scale protection matter across thousands of cycles. Water treatment is engineered for maximum flavour and aroma alongside dependable scale protection, prolonging equipment life while serving better-tasting hot beverages.
A 5-stage process (prefiltration, silver activated carbon, sediment reduction, media-specific water treatment, and fine filtration) handles the filtration. Like the rest of the IX range, it's built around the reusable IX Variable Head and casing, with only the internal cartridge exchanged and regenerated when it reaches capacity. On IX Vend specifically, the head's bypass must be set to 0 to make sure no hard water is dialled back into the water supply.
